2015, 49-0 WVU win

This win was the first WVU football shutout of Kansas since that first game back in 1941. The 49-0 victory was dominant in all three aspects for the Mountaineers.

First, Skyler Howard was a man on a mission. He led the offense in rushing and passing yards this game with 129 yards on the ground and 133 through the air. He also had a passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown.

Second, Nana Kyeremeh led the team with five tackles and an interception. Four other Mountaineers had at least four tackles on defense and Terrell Chestnut also had an interception.

Third, punter Nick O’Toole averaged 56 yards on his four punts against the Jayhawks in 2015. One of his boots went a solid 62 yards.

A win like this should be what is expected of the Mountaineers each time stay play Kansas. The WVU football team wasn’t so solid in 2012 when it visited Lawrence, Kansas.
