Thomas Sirk
Even with a tenure as a quarterback at a Power 5 school, Thomas Sirk wasn’t the starter to begin his time at East Carolina. He played at Duke before transferring to ECU as a graduate student. Sirk has experience, playing in 24 career games with the Blue Devils.

Sirk did not see any game action last year as he was recovering from an injury. Even though he was in a starting battle for the QB job he lost to Gardner Minshew, who started against JMU and threw 17 passes.
Sirk was inserted into the game later and went 21 of 35 through the air with two interceptions. Sirk was promoted to the full-time starting job during practice this week. He probably won’t be throwing that much against the WVU football team as he gets more acclimated to running the ECU offense.
