Here is a name you will be hearing a lot over the Milan Puskar Stadium speakers on Saturday. Against James Madison, Derrell Scott only carried the ball 12 times and wound up with just 45 total yards.

Against West Virginia, the Pirates won’t be throwing as much because of the talent level in the WVU football team’s secondary. A stronger rushing attack will be established early in the game against the Mountaineers’ young defensive front.

Scott busted out for a long run of 11 yards against JMU. He was a running fool in high school as one of the top prospects in the state of North Carolina in 2013. He earned a scholarship to Tennessee after totaling more than 6,000 rushing yards in four years of high school. He transferred from UT to ECU after one season and he is still developing.
