Jackson State vs. TCU

TCU certainly has the potential to be the big dog in the state of Texas. Actually, the Horned Frogs may already be there, according to DieHards.com.

The Horned Frogs could win 10 games in 2017 and compete for the top spot in the Big 12 if Kenny Hill has another big year at quarterback and the defense builds itself as the strongest unit in the conference.

SportsDay.com likes the team’s chances to compete at a high level, meaning they will be so much better than last year. The Horned Frogs will be a tough team for any opponent to deal with, especially Jackson State.

Last year, Jackson State went 3-8 and 3-6 in conference to finish fourth in the Southwestern Athletic Conference East. TCU went 6-7 and 4-5 in conference to finish sixth in the Big 12.

Prediction: TCU 67, Jackson State 14.
