It’s officially game week. The WVU football season is set to begin in less than seven days when the Mountaineers take on Virginia Tech at FedEx Field.
The coaching staff recently released thedepth chartfor Week 1. There aren’t many surprises on the list and it’s finally encouraging to see some potentially impactful players receiving a strong role on this year’s team. Most of the depth chart is in line with what waspublished on Saturday Blitza week ago.
But there has been some developments and setbacks that have altered the roster leading up to the game. Maybe even a surprise or two will dot the roster.
Most of the names at the top of the roster are familiar to most diehard WVU football fans. But there are some new names that will become household names by the end of the season.
