The WVU football team is scheduled to play East Carolina in week 2 and Delaware State in week 3. Kickoff times for both were announced.

After the Mountaineers season-opener was moved to prime-time Sunday night on Sept. 3 a few weeks ago, West Virginia learned their week 2 and 3 plans yesterday. This won’t please many students, but the East Carolina game is now scheduled for a noon kickoff on FoxSports 2 (FS2), per Big12Sports.

West Virginia’s week 3 match-up with Delaware State was also granted a time and station, via the above tweet from the official WVU football account. Root Sports will air the noon kickoff with Delaware State in week 3.

Once the spring game concluded, the excitement was high around WVU football. There was Will Grier taking the reins at quarterback and David Sills V arriving at wide receiver. Spring games are always fun, but a team like WVU can’t display all of their arsenal; the physicality their defense brings to the table isn’t great for team scrimmages.
