Exree Loe backs out of Pitt; could land at WVU
Exree Loe should have already found favor with fans of the WVU football program.
The three-star football prospect out of Johnstown, Pa. has dropped his verbal commitment to the University of Pittsburgh.

That’s good news for the Mountaineers because Loe now has West Virginia on his short list of interested schools.
Through a post on Twitter, Loe recently declared his intentions. It came as as surprise to many because Exree Loe was an early commit for the Panthers. He was a local guy and seemed to be a good fit with Pat Narduzzi and his staff.
But things happen and youngsters change their moods and decisions quickly.
Loe received an offer from head coach Dana Holgorsen and the WVU football program back in March. Less than four months later, the Mountaineers very well could be in play again.

While West Virginia may be sticking in his head, especially with ace recruiter and defensive coordinator Tony Gibson right on Loe’s tail, the talented cornerback obviously has some other offers on the table.
No school may be rising more quickly that Rutgers, a former rival of both Pitt and WVU in the Big East Conference, now in the Big Ten.
Loe visited Rutgers in February, even after he had committed to the Panthers. Proximity from Johnstown to Pittsburgh may have played a part in his choice to commit so early to Pitt, but a family influence likely attracted him to Rutgers.
“I have family in New Jersey, both in Neptune and in Camden,” Loe said. “I will probably will try to get back down to Rutgers.”
That’s exactly what happened because, this past weekend, Loe was back in New Jersey eyeing up a Scarlet Knights practice and camp.

He has every right to test the waters and see what is best for himself and his family. It’s no coincidence that shortly after Loe visited Rutgers he decommitted from Pitt. The influence of coaches plays a big role in a teenager’s decision making process.
All these top flight recruits are being woo-ed on their college visits and see so many cool and exciting things. You can’t help but want to be a part of it all.
If Loe arrives on WVU’s campus this summer, Holgorsen and Gibson will be pulling out all the stops to land this solid prospect.
