Daryl Worley

Daryl Worley’s final game as a Mountaineer came on Dec. 5, a 24-23 loss at Kansas State. He was ruled academically ineligible for the Cactus Bowl against Arizona State.

So, instead of staying in school and shoring up his grades for his senior season, Worley decided to vault towards the NFL. He had a solid junior year that should attract attention from professional teams needing depth in the secondary.

With the Mountaineers, Worley was an Iron Mountaineer for his dedication in the weight room and that showed on the field with his rugged physicality.

As a senior, Worley recorded 46 solo tackles with a team-leading six interceptions. Wrapping up a three-year career, he had 126 solo tackles and 10 interceptions.
