Next game

The Mountaineers have no time to celebrate a big win because another big game is right around the corner.

The WVU basketball team will travel to Lawrence, Kan. on Tuesday for another match up with the highly-regarded Jayhawks.

It’s not just the Mountaineers taking on Kansas, they’ll be doing so in one of the nation’s most notorious college basketball gyms.

Allen Fieldhouse will feature 16,300 fans who send the message, “Pay Heed All Who Enter.” On Tuesday, that will be the Mountaineers, who have yet to win a Big 12 game at “The Phog.”

West Virginia beat Kansas, 74-63, at the WVU Coliseum on Jan. 12.
