Stopping Gathers

The big man for Baylor was held below his season average scoring and was visibly dumbfounded by the WVU defense.

He scored just five points and went 1 of 9 from the field.

Our own Joshua Taylor wrote in his game recap, “By slowing down Gathers shows just how much the West Virginia defense has improved from last year, even without suspended forward Jonathan Holton. Gathers averaged a double-double against the Mountaineers last season.”
