Daxter goes the extra Miles

Demonstrating the depth of the Mountaineers, Daxter Miles Jr. had a breakout game. He led the WVU basketball team with 20 points and added four rebounds and two assists.

He was solid from the floor, shooting 6 for 8 front he field, and went 4 for 5 from behind-the-arc.

It’s that kind of consistent shooting that West Virginia has lacked in its four total losses on the year. As a team, WVU was solid on the night going 27 of 55 from the floor, nearly 50-percent for the game.

If the Mountaineers can keep that up, and improve just a little bit, they’ll be set for the rest of the season.
