Traditional recruits give WVU football a solid class

SKINNY: By signing Smothers, the Mountaineers made perhaps their biggest splash on offensive. He has the skills of another Maryland native who went on to make his own splash at WVU, Tavon Austin. Smothers totaled nearly 3,000 career receiving yards and 65 total touchdowns in high school. He was a two-time All-State honoree and played in the Under Armour All-Star Game this past year.
