Foul shooting even worse

Both teams had trouble with the “freebies” early on as the Mountaineers and Longhorns missed the first eight combined foul shot attempts.

WVU got considerably worse as the game went on.

The Mountaineers were 8 of 23 from the charity stripe. Jevon Carter and Esa Ahmad both missed all of their chances at the line.

Elijah Macon was just 2 of 7 from the foul line.
