No. 4 Sam Huff

From 1952 to 1956, Sam Huff led West Virginia to a 31-7 record. In that time, WVU made an apperance in the 1954 Sugar Bowl.

Huff was a consensus All-American at WVU and his jersey is retired.

He was drafted by the New York Giants in the third round in 1956 and and was an NFL Champion that year. He also played for the Washington Redskins and was a five-time Pro Bowl selection.
