No. 33 Chuck Howley

Chuck Howley is in a league of his own at WVU. He is the only Mountaineer athlete to letter in five sports – football, track, wrestling, gymnastics and swimming. He played on the offensive line West Virginia and made the switch to defense in the NFL.

As the seventh overall pick in the 1958 Draft, Howley was a late bloomer in the NFL. He was selected by the Chicago Bears, but traded to the Dallas Cowboys.

With the Cowboys, he was a six-time Pro Bowl selection.
