Center Lloyd Sharrar

Following in the footsteps of Mark Workman was a prototypical big man for West Virgina. Lloyd Sharrar busted onto the scene and had some big games with the Mountaineers from 1956-1958.

Twice, he grabbed 26 rebounds in single games and he finished with 1,178 for his career. He added 1,101 points, as well.

The 6-foot-10 center was All-Southern Conference and a Third-Team All-American in 1958.
