No. 10 – Clint Trickett

“Clint Trickett, really?!?” claim some Mountaineer fans. Yes, really Trickett, like Howard, drew criticism as a Mountaineer, but his numbers don’t lie. Trickett is No. 8 all-time in pass attempts (652), No. 7 in pass completions (404), No. 15 in passing touchdowns (25) and No. 4 in pass completion percentage (.620) among all WVU quarterbacks.

He stepped in to the role for his hometown Mountaineers in 2013 and 2014, after beginning his college career at Florida State, where his father, Rick, was the Seminoles’ offensive line coach.

Concussions plagued Trickett’s career, thus ending his playing days. He currently serves as quarterback coach for East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, MS.
