Shaq Riddick signs contract with Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals have made former West Virginia defensive end Shaq Riddick officially part of the team as Riddick signed his contract with the team two days ago.

The Cardinals selected Riddick in the fifth-round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

“It’s a blessing,” Riddick told the Arizona Cardinal’s official website. “It just makes me want to get ready to work. I’m ready to get to work now. This is another step I’m proud of even having the chance to get to.”

The Cardinal’s official website did not list the details of Riddick’s contract, but according to Spotrac.com, Riddick’s deal is for four years worth $2,491,33 with a signing bonus of $211,833.
