Mario Alford inks contract with Bengals

According to the Cincinnati Bengals official Twitter account, former West Virginia wide receiver Mario Alford has signed a deal with the team.

The Bengals drafted Alford in the seventh round of the NFL Draft. He was largely taken due to his incredible speed. Reports indicate the he will be heavily used on special teams with the Bengals.

UPDATE:  According to Cincy Jungle Alford’s contract is for four years worth $2,339,104, including a signing bonus of $59,104.
