West Virginia Mountaineers athletic director Oliver Luck, father of Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck, has been mentioned on a list of names to be on the College Football Playoff Committee. The Big 12 has told officials about his involvement. The committee will include an AD from the power conferences of the Big 12, ACC, SEC, Big Ten and Pac-12.
Luck has declined to comment until an official announcement has been made. Playoff exec Bill Hancock also declined to comment, confirm or deny any potential candidates until an official announcement, which will be made by the end of the year. This group will include between 12-18 members.
"“These are all people of high integrity.” – Bill Hancock"
Oliver Luck has a deep history in football that includes, aside from West Virginia Mountaineers AD, CEO of NFL Europe.
Another rumor involving Oliver Luck is that he is a candidate for the upcoming AD job in Texas since DeLoss Dodds has announced his retirement.
