Game Result: WVU loses a tight one to Oklahoma

Reasoning: This look has become arguably the fan favorite in recent seasons.

Everyone knows that when the Mountaineers don the blue-gold-gold uniform system, that it is a huge night game for WVU. Unforutnately, it also is an indicator of a major West Virginia loss.

The uniform has been tagged as “unlucky” given the losses to Pitt in 2007, LSU in 2011, and Oklahoma in 2012.

This is one of the most appealing uniform combinations that West Virginia utilizes, especially when combined with tall blue socks. It is a fun unfirom system that the players especially like and works well for gold rush games to really get the Morgantown crowd amped for night games.

This combination could easily be #1 on the list if it were not for the bulk of big losses associated with this uniform set.
