The West Virginia men’s basketball team will begin their first season in the Big XII against Oklahoma on January 5. After playing a couple games in conference, WVU will put on the full court press in terms of crowd coloration.
When the Mountaineers host perennial power Kansas on Monday January 28, WVU will ask fans to stripe the Coliseum. This will be a good game for Mountaineers fans to pack the Coliseum and show their West Virginia pride on the national stage in a nationally televised game.
The Kansas Jayhawks will be a tremendous challenge for this Mountaineers team. Coach Huggins team will need a lot of energy from the crowd to give them a little extra step in their game against one of the best teams in the nation.
