While Maryland isn’t going to wear the ugly uniforms they wore against Miami, nevertheless, they are most likely going to be uglier than a Baldwin brother.

After the break are the staff’s takes on this Saturday’s game, which will take place in College Park, MD @ Byrd Stadium. Television: ESPNU, Noon ET.

Jeremy aka “Slangbus”

"We get some semblance of a running game going, O’Brien is rusty after the bye, and Geno stays hot. WVU 49 – Maryland 6."

Dwayne aka The Sports Dude

"I think the Maryland game is actually going to be close, but I like our offense to score. We have to be able to RUN the ball though! WVU 35, Maryland 21."

Jerry aka The Deuce

"WVU is off to a 2-0 start. Many now say the season starts this weekend at The Byrd. UMD defeated a talented, yet depleated Miami squad that was effected by suspensions. Let’s face it, Miami could have, and really should have beat UMD with 2nd and 3rd string players. In my opinion what beat Miami? Miami… you can’t walk in any stadium in America and turn the ball over 4 times and expect to win. UMD returned a fumble and interception for touchdowns.Maryland has a solid defensive front, and good linebackers. The secondary seems suspect to me. Miami wide receivers was setting down in the UMD zone and found space. Maryland likes to bring different blitz looks so screens should be there, and let fact it, Morris isn’t Geno, and we don’t run the Miami offense.Danny O’ Brien returns for the Terps, and we remember what Bruce Irvin did to him when he entered last season at MPS. We know UMD will line up at times in a big package, then spread it out and look for space. They have a nice running back in Dave Meggett, and run play action, so our defensive backs need to be disciplined. This is the Mountaineers first road trip of the season and leaders need to step up.WVU 37 UMD 24"

"So here’s hoping that there won’t be “A Tale of Two Halves” on Saturday. We cannot afford to fall behind to Maryland early on. Absolutely nothing worse than finding yourself in a big hole and doing nothing but playing catch-up the entire game. Maryland is coming off a bye and looked decent against Miami, where WVU came off a 2nd half annihilating of Norfolk State. This will finally be the game that the offense runs on all cylinders for 60 minutes. Not to mention, it’s going to be fun to see Bruce Irvin rough up Danny O’Brien again.WVU- 34, UMD- 24"

LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MOUNTAINEERS!!!

Average score prediction: WVU- 39, UMD- 19

UPDATE, 9/15, 9:45pm

According to College Football Talk, Maryland has suspended two of their top three receivers.

"With one game of the 2011 season in the books, Quintin McCree and Ronnie Tyler (pictured) have combined to provide nearly half of the receptions at the wide receiver position for Maryland. For the foreseeable future, however, neither player will provide anything to the Terps on the field. In a release, Maryland announced that both players have been indefinitely suspended by first-year head coach Randy Edsall.  As for the reason behind the twin suspensions, you know the drill — unspecified violations of team rules."

So, now with the suspension, wonder if that Maryland (-1) line will change?
