John Flowers Team MVP

John Flowers was named Most Valuable Player of the men’s basketball team at the team’s 2010-11 banquet, held Sunday at the Waterfront Place Hotel.

Flowers averaged 9.2 points per game and was second on the team in rebounding average at 6.2 boards per contest. He finished his Mountaineer career with 157 blocked shots, 4th in school history. Flowers played in 142 career games, 3rd most in school history. He had 18 games in double figures this year, including a career-high 24 points against Providence.
