Jeff Mullen finds a job

Amazingly, he gets to continue his coaching career after killing off any offensive identity WVU once had.

According to the Charlotte Observer, he will be the new Offensive Coordinator of the start-up Charlotte 49ers (UNC-Charlotte) football team.

"Jim Grobe laughed when it was suggested to him that Brad Lambert, the Charlotte 49ers’ new football coach, had hired Jeff Mullen before Grobe could get to him.“That sorry dog,” Grobe said of Lambert. “He went out and got one of the good ones.”Lambert’s first act as Charlotte’s first coach Tuesday was to name Mullen offensive coordinator. They are longtime friends and colleagues from their days coaching under Grobe at Wake Forest.Mullen left the Deacons in 2007 to be offensive coordinator at West Virginia, but was fired in December when the Mountaineers brought in head-coach-in-waiting Dana Holgorsen to be offensive coordinator next season before taking over for Bill Stewart in 2012."

You gotta hand it to Mullen… this jerk gets to double-dip this season and doesn’t have to do a damn thing! And, isn’t it funny that another person from WVU takes the road to Charlotte, NC?
