After an 8-5 season on the gridiron, the West Virginia football program will send six former players to the NFL Combine.

More than 300 recently graduated players, or those players who have chosen to forego their junior or senior seasons have been invited to the annual event, which will take place Feb. 23-29 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

For the Mountaineers, those former players include safety KJ Dillon, safety Karl Joseph, linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski, punter Nick O’Toole, running back Wendell Smallwood and cornerback Daryl Worley.

According to WVUsports.com, this is the 15th consecutive year that WVU has sent players to the Combine. Also, six is the highest number of invitees in program history, a mark that has been reached three times.
