The WVU football program got a head start on National Signing Day when the new school semester started in January.

There were nine incoming Mountaineers who enrolled early to the WVU football program.

By getting a leg up on their school work, these future players have the advantage of becoming acclimated to college life sooner than other freshman will in the fall.

Plus, they get to enjoy life in Morgantown, one of the country’s best college towns.

Here’s a look at the nine players who enrolled early at West Virginia.
