West Virginia junior forward BillyDee Williams will transfer, head coach Bob Huggins announced.

Williams played in 18 games this past season. He averaged 1.2 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. He saw sporadic playing time throughout the season.

“BillyDee and I met, and we mutually agreed that he should transfer to another school for his senior season,” said Huggins in a release. “We thank BillyDee for his contributions to Mountaineer basketball, and we wish him success in his future endeavors.”

Williams, a 6-foot-6 forward was thought to be a contributing factor next season as the search for complements for Devin Williams and Jonathan Holton. B. Williams, however, will be moving on from the West Virginia Program.
