WVU Mountaineers head coach Dana Holgorsen has a big decision to make in the very near future… who will be the next quarterback? No doubt, whoever he chooses to fill the position will have huge shoes to fill since former QB Geno Smith is now vying for starting QB position in the NFL with the New York Jets. Holgorsen has recently given us three names that might have what it takes to be our next leader: Ford Childress, Clint Trickett or Paul Millard.

When specifically discussing Millard, Holgorsen told ESPN

Paul Millard makes the best decisions and the worst decisions. He has gotten the most reps and is pretty comfortable. He will still do some bonehead stuff, as they all do. Any time you have guys that do not have a lot of starts under their belt, they are going to make some good decisions and bad decisions.

With the Mountaineers’ first game coming up on August 31st against William and Mary a decision will need to be made as soon as possible. The good news, however, is that at least the game will be played at home in Morgantown at Milan Puskar Stadium.
