How fortunate was the entire staff of HailWv to be in attendance of this game? It was such a memorable night and it is what I’ll remember most from this inaugural Big 12 season. Granted, if anyone has read any of my previous posts, he/she knows that I am one who believes defense is everything. This game did not have much of it, but the ‘eers D did just enough in the end to get the W.

The Texas crowd was very welcoming, for the most part, and I would recommend the trip to Austin, TX to anyone looking for a great place to watch a game. It did not hurt that the single game attendance record for Longhorns football was set on that cool night in the Lone Star State. Oh yea, and I cannot forget to mention the Bevo shots at the Dizzy Rooster or the beyond amazing barbecue at the Salt Lick. What a great experience indeed!
