Pitt eats it 3 years in a row.

How sweet it is!

Last night, the Mountaineers defeated the school up north 21-20 in the Backyard Brawl.

Words cannot describe the jubilation I was feeling after the game… most West Virginia fans stayed and sang “Country Roads” followed up by a playing of “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey.

At halftime, my buddy told me: “We’re not going to lose this game.”

Second half was unbelievable as the defense (the same defense that has been questioned & criticized all season) really stepped up their game and put the sacks to Tino Sunseri… 10 of them as a matter of fact. Julian Miller had FOUR sacks!

WVU wins 21-20, and has a short week to prepare for the South Florida Bulls in Tampa, FL. This game will be televised on Thursday, 1 DEC on ESPN. Craig James will be announcing. Ugh.

After the jump are the stats.
