The Charleston Gazette is reporting West Virginia coach basketball coach Bob Huggins has landed a commitment from 6-foot-3 guard Eron Harris of Lawrence North (Ind.) High. Lawrence North is a 4-A Indiana division school. Harris visited WVU this weekend and gave his word to Huggins and assistant Larry Harrison.
Harris (170lbs) is a senior who said he’ll sign with the Mountaineers in November. He said he also had offers from Wisconsin, Dayton, Loyola, Evansville, Georgia State, Buffalo and Jacksonville, among others. He’s rated a three-star prospect by Rivals, and Scout.com. Harris played AAU ball for the Indiana Elite team.
