Return and Recap

Hello, readers! After taking a couple of weeks off for my Myrtle Beach vacation, and subsequently taking more time off due to the unfortunate passing of my dog Princess, I have decided to start updating regularly again.

First off, I just want to thank everyone with their kind words of condolence over the past week or so… it truly has meant a lot to me. Yes, I miss my dear Princess, but, life goes on.

Anyway, next question on your list is probably, “Why Wild Thing from Major League 2?” Well, it’s simple, that’s how much of an impact I’m going to make. Duh, winning! Now, let’s catch up on events that happened the past 2 weeks in my absence. Plus, AC/DC’s Back in Black is so cliche’.

WVU loses to Kentucky in the “Round of 32” in NCAA Tournament.
Honestly, I believe the selection committee wanted this matchup for Cheatin’ Calipari to get his revenge on a weaker than last year WVU team… and, just like most games this season, WVU went on an infamous scoring drought in the 2nd half which led to their demise. I was in Myrtle Beach at Broadway Louie’s watching this game. Broadway Louie’s is the official WVU bar in the Myrtle Beach area. But, anyway, I hated to see guys like John Flowers and Joe Mazzulla end their careers on that sour note.

Da’Sean Butler signs with the San Antonio Spurs.
Now, this one was awesome. It was just another routine day for me in Myrtle Beach… me at the beach, flipping through my cell phone at everyone’s tweets, then I saw someone tell me that Butler had signed with the Spurs… yeah, that got me excited. I’m a longtime Spurs fan, and the fact that Da’Sean Butler signed with them was enough to make me run all the way back to the place I was staying and try to do the Dougie in the living room. Don’t ask how it went, please. Butler was assigned to the Spurs NBDL’s team, the Austin Toros… where he saw his former WVU teammate Joe Alexander just light it up for the Texas Legends. I obviously like this signing and hope Da’Sean Butler can help bring another NBA Championship or two to San Antonio.

In other news, Spring Practice has started for the WVU Football team, and it seems the offense is picking up a lot quicker than Stewart or Holgorsen had figured, even though Holgorsen claims his offense can be installed in 3 days. Also, someone has been hired in Lonnie Galloway’s place… Daron Roberts. THIS GUY has a Harvard Law Degree. I bet he could show the instructors up at the Law School a thing or two… and I bet he could climb Law School Hill with relative ease, too.

Also, Brandon Hogan got arrested again. I still think this guy will fit in perfectly with Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys.

Finally, do me a favor and buy a Holgoritaville t-shirt before the Gold/Blue spring game. I wanna see these t-shirts out in full force.
