This is Fansided and Site5’s first Holiday Charity Drive, and I’m glad to be a part of it! This year, we’re helping the Boys & Girls Club, a sports-related philanthropic cause!
DONATE HERE.
Fansided’s network goal is to raise $5,000! I’d like to see HailWV.com’s readership chip in anywhere from $50-$200… let’s make a serious dent in that board! Plus, I think the network can SHATTER the $5,000 mark!
Here is the BGCA mission statement:
To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Core Beliefs
A Boys & Girls Club Provides:
A safe place to learn and grow…
Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals…
Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences…
Hope and opportunity.
DONATE HERE.
I realize that these are tough economic times… but, I would like to encourage all of my readers to give whatever you can to this cause and help us reach our goal. I’d like to take a moment and thank Site5; both for helping put this drive on and their continued partnership with Fansided.
I will also be doing my part for the cause today. For every sack the WVU defense has on that tool Tino Sunseri, I will donate $10/sack to this cause!
DONATE HERE.
Tomorrow, we will have another post featuring the drive, and pretty much making a pitch as to why you should give.
